Reweaving
LeatherCare offers
expert French Weaving, Inweaving and Re-knitting services. Pricing
varies according to the fabric type, the size of the damage,
and the reweaving technique required to do the best job.
Estimates are recommended due to the cost associated with performing
this type of work. On request, we will call you with an estimate
price.
When accepting an item for reweaving, please pin the area to
be rewoven, and note the area on your ticket.
All work is guaranteed not to come loose for the life of the
garment. We cannot guarantee in advance that the reweave
will be invisible.
Hat Cleaning
and Blocking
The cleaning, blocking
and restoration of hats 
are done
by expert hatters. All hats are cleaned with degreasing solvents,
air dried and reblocked to the style, size and shape of the hat.
Repairs of headbands, sweatbands and liners are available. Due
to the unique nature of hat cleaning, please allow up to three
weeks for completion.
Tips
for Dry Cleaners
- Check for deteriorated leather, vinyl, plastic or paper type sweat bands.
- Check for plastic or vinyl liners that may harden during cleaning.
- Check for ribbons, feathers or pins and inserts that need to be removed.
- Check for worn areas or breaks
around the crown which may tear in cleaning.
